Hugging the foothills of the Bredasdorp – Napier mountains, and surrounded by waving wheat lands, is the historic town of Napier. Founded in 1838, the town was named after Sir George Napier, Governor of the Cape Colony. Outside the town one finds the remains of an old gold mine
